I've tried Q2Pro and the ONLY thing that doesn't work is that the "togglemenu" command doesn't work.

Any fixes?

Its the only thing stopping me from using Q2Pro as my default client.

For the address book

For the video cvars because I dont know the commands.

For the address book

For the options BECAUSE I DONT KNOW THE COMMANDS

AND FOR THE ADDRESS BOOK!!!!

Here are also I list of things I want fixed.

-Some custom models still use the default weapon.md2 even if there is a custom weapon.md2 in the folder.

-Sometimes commands like +fire and +forward get stuck and continuously registers the cmd.

-Two messages in between about a .1 second interval only use 1 beep instead of 2.

-For example, you use one of those banners that uses 4 messages at once. Instead of sounding like 4 beeps, it only gets 1. This is just sorta uncomfortable. and I wouldnt mind if there was a fix to this.

-The cl_railspiral_color and railcore cvars are always set to the default color of blue and they wont change color.

As an aside... something I personally find more convenient than the address book, is making connect aliases in baseq2/autoexec.cfg.

Example:

for cvars and help making a config just google the q2pro config generator, it doesnt include every cvar for the client i dont think, but it does help you make a pretty large

and as far as an address book... quadz idea is pretty cool lol imo its just more convenient to type in a command than go through some menus

with quake there really is no need to have a menu, but if you like to have one im sure there is a fix to make it work... i dont think i had any problems with the menu when i installed q2pro

copy this one in attachment in your quake2\baseq2 folder

This has fixed all the problems except why my railgun trail never changes color no matter how many times I put the "cl_railspiral/core_color" cvar.

well i have q2pro in diff folder then r1q2 to avoid autoexec conflict

did u try to use skuller ref_newgl.dll : set vid_ref "newgl"
