hmm, I never really tried jumping rdm maps (to find some weird crazy ones as on dm7), I guess I should give it a try to look for some of those since I am stubborn with jumpin

I remember mrt talking about the RA jumps on ztn2dm1 during the Boxing Day tourney, so I decided to figure them out. I didn't bother to keygrip one of them btw.

I think it may be possible to to get from the walkway below rail on dm3 to the above ledge, although I don't think anyone's done it. you can get that little double jump effect like trying to get to upper rl on dm1 from the walkway. maybe smoking crack : ).

maybe haunted or some one should try to do something on dm3 like... get from the acid by the rail, use the pop out, double jump off the ledge or one of the moving platforms, and get up to the ledge with the bullets

wonder if thats possible

im not good enough at jumpin to do that sorta shit lol

10 year old ztn2dm1 trick demo by =SCUT= OpenGL in attachment

btw nice job with 1st jump but my general idea how to make that jump is:
- drag opponent (who is in control ra+chain+rl) in rg area
- then fast jump trough teleport (with telemode nofreeze on opentdm server) and direct from teleport 2 RA and take over control of chain+RA

As a jumping noob, I appreciate seeing some good jumping.

Good jumpers play maps in a totally different way.

an interesting idea. it could be possible, but it would be with like 26 fps or something, else in order to grip the ledge right for a DJ off the moving plat you would have to execute it SOOOOOO perfectly, then satisfying that condition It might be doable with 60 fps but.... I am going to lean towards not possible / ridiculously hard(not worth putting the time to get lucky and finally make it for me).. until I go check it out.

I was thinking of somehow doing a water jump out of the acid with your back turn away from the moving platforms. Once you do that turn 90 degrees towards a moving platform and djing off of it. I don't think it would work since the platforms are close to level with the walls that the acid bathes in. Even it were, you'd have to time the water jump so that it is in-sync with the moving platform. In other words, my mind would be blown if that were possible.

You can probably DJ off those moving platforms from the ground, they seem like the typical minimum height to do so with a lower fps. I think the origin is below dm3, which would help, but keep in mind that's a total guess off my own observations. It could just as easily be on the bottom floor(I'm fairly positive it's not in the top 3/4 of the map.) If so, this would make the water jump to tj off the platform a LITTLE easier despite fps, concerning the gripping/catching of the edge. Problem is, the ledge is pretty high and the low fps at a glance will take too much from the height of your jump I'd say... This is why I suggested 60, although it would be much more dependent on timing and execution(why the origin's position could actually matter), so... a lot harder. I think it's possible, but either way(high or low fps) it'll be hard for different reasons.

I stilllll haven't checked that jump out though, I could be wrong about it all
