I now have a title of "Swanky Member"?  Surely, fraudz, you could have come up with something more clever than that.  Don't even get me started on "Carpal Tunnel Member"...I want some creativity, friends, and this extends through other aspects of this community as well.

Hehe, I'm sure we've established by now that we try to be as resistant as possible to folks' suggestions about how to improve the servers, etc.

But that's all going to change!  As of your message above, we are suddenly going to at least pretend to listen to these nice folks who make suggestions about adding mods or maps to servers, or general suggestions--you know this is killing us, because we hate EVERYONE--but general suggestions about what could be improved on the forums as well.  Whew!  There, I said it.  Brand new policy!!

One of the things that went into the current forums labels, is post-count seems a strange metric.  It's susceptible to inflation by spamming, but it ALSO indicates folks spend a lot of time here.  Kind of yin\yang, so i tried to guess forums ranking labels that might have minimal interest to those on the spammy side of the equation.  Still, I'd prefer a metric based on "most overall total frag count" and "most frags this month" and .. etc... things that were more fun and relevant to q2, which is, after all, the nexus / magnetic attractor / reason to be here.

(To clarify, I'd love to make the forums rankings include stats-based rankings in addition to post count.  For ex. someone might have 72 posts here, but be l33tsauce^squared on the servers, so it would be nice to recognize that.  You know, or maybe they have the top ten percentile rail accuracey, or whatever - so they get that ranking, etc. Love to do it, needs to be coded tho.)

You deserve all the respect anyone could pass your way, so hopefully you'll realize KK's comments are much more related to his own problems, whatever seems to have crawled up his ass in recent times, and not really directly a result of anything you've done.  As you can see, all us happy people don't seem to be complaigning about the job you're doing =)

That'd be cool quadz! but I only really play on the tdm servers so my ffa stats are probably pretty limited. If you can incorporate tourney servers into the stats too... w00t!

and like Punk said, you're awesome and really do care about all of us... always there to listen/help etc. to make this community a better and thriving place to be.

I would even dare to guess that I discovered them before you. I just never cared much about them.

2) Kobra takes the statements from someone online to heart.
3) Kobra 'doesn't care' yet he feels it's a necesity to 'take a stand'.
4) Kobra retaliates with already-stated information.
5) Bigwig cracks another joke.
6) Kobra takes this seriously as well.
7) Kobra states that he's correct over a pointless argument on a pointless issue by stating 'but I'm correct.' based on a decision he made on a hypothetical situation occuring in bigwig's mind.
8.) Kobra claims what he says to be valid, when it is disigenious at best.
9) Kobra compares talking on the phone (99% of the time it is with someone you know in person) and talking on the internet (99% of the time it is someone you do not know in person) as if they both apply to the same situation.
10) Kobra insults the creativity of the admins by poking fun at the labels that were created for people with a high amount of posts. (I'm sure their feelings are hurt)
11) Kobra self proclaims him as the winner of forum argumentation over pointless issues.

Reality check: Kobra, sometimes people say things that are humorous. We refer to these humorous things as 'jokes'. Jokes sometimes are not funny to everyone, but their obvious intent is humor. It's not an intelligent thing to take everything that people say from an onling gaming community seriously. Maybe someday you will get past this along with your stubordness. Accept what people say as 'jokes' when it is obvious that they are, and don't reject what everybody has to say by stating some clearly inaccurate information to back up your points, as if we were to accept it as the truth. It seriously does not work and only discredits yourself and what you have to say on this forum. I mean, read 1-11. Do you not see how silly and ridiculous all of this is??

Also, before you ask and explain what you're about to say, I will go ahead and answer/explain it for you.

Yes, bigwig started it. Oh well, who cares, I was talking to you, not him. Why are my posts addressed to you and not him? Because you are clearly the weenie of the situation. (taking jokes seriously, starting stuff with admins and others, negative/derogatory comments to people that were not even involved, etc.) Yes, I did call you stubborn. I refer to people with this term, for example, that think they are right over everything, and care enough about being right so much that they self-proclaim themselves the winners of pointless argumentation over the internet without considering the points of others. Also other examples would be if someone consistently denied the advice of others, and only accepted their own thoughts as 'logical'.

Also, your post will probably contain something on the lines of 'who am I to say the things I am saying?' and/or 'I don't think you are someone to make the statements you're making, being who you are to this community

Yes, due to your bias, of course you would interpret everything I do/say negatively.  And you're one to talk about taking statements from someone online to the heart, weren't you people offended by that statement "you people" in the first place?  Just think, all of this pretty much goes right back to that petty statement I made...haunted, I don't see why you feel the need to take a stand against me, as I basically couldn't care less about you or your posts towards me.

You probably skipped that part before where I say your opinion about what's funny and what's not is irrelevent. Your opinion on what's funny is equal to my opinion on which music is good. Meaning nobody fucking cares.

The humor in there is that even though I stated this fact a million times with you, I still said the band is boring and that element should crawl under a bed for liking them. This is a joke because I don't care what you like or what element likes. A normal person (element) just saw that and said that he doesn't care and cracked another joke as well. While you being all insecure immediatly feel threaten and you take seriously any comments made towards you.
