Side note: What I'd like to implement, if I had time, is a new mute mode where you stay muted until your frag count increases at least +1. 

Maybe adding a running or moving thing to a player to it. A potential spammer would bypas the mute by fraging 1.

I guess, for whatever reason, I don't find his blather particularly annoying on servers like vanilla... I suppose, to use Hitchhiker's Guide parlance, he seems "mostly harmless."

However, I've received enough complaints I've raised the half mute to 300 seconds (and re-instituted the name restriction to prevent spammy name changes.)

one thing thats really nice with the current half mute system is it doesnt mute for team chat if you are on a team for tdm

so team binds for weapon drops and item/enemy locations dont get you muted in team games also helpful if you just wanna talk to some one about certain jumps on a server or something of that sort

still get muted talking in team chat as a spectator though >_>

Even if it was just for one day, it would be awesome
