this is what happens every time i load anti cheat. as soon as i remove it, it goes back to normal, and when i reload it, it lags again. Did it 6 times in a row, so it's no coincidence

this was recorded using snagit which does not lag your system while recording.

I see no lag meter & only two screens with pings (that are up for under a second) & no "this is with anticheat" & "this is w/o anticheat" labeling.

Looks like a plain gameplay vid to me.

yeah but he's skipping around.. it's like PL that doesn't show up on your netgraph. Same lag happens to me occasionally.. I reboot then it goes away though, for a few hours. Perhaps it's shitty computers that ALSO run AC? I have a demo.. it happened recently, quite a bit, v. hunter. I'll post it in the demo section if anyone is interested :>

it could be possible that the ocassional freezing and frameloss is not a network issue.
Possible hardware or some background software that actively is running. Possible your AV keeps on constantly scanning or probing your AC.
Must be a configuration on ur AV issue. try disabling heurestic scan.

believe it or not i aint that stupid lol. i switched my anti virus off before i ran my test. i used to use anti cheat all the time, but got rid of it because it was reacking havoc on my computer, but it didn't lag me then. I recently downloaded it again and try to run it, and as soon as i do i just lag like in that video. I have a decent computer system aswell, so i know it's got nothing to do with that.

thats odd.

what other background applications are you running?

Just a shot in the dark, try running quake with ac on it and pull up the task manager and see what other processes are hogging up CPU usage aside from quake.
Also try running the stock quake.exe without deleting AC. See if it still lags. If it does, it could be probably and issue of R1q2 and AC dll.

here u go. is there anything is this list that looks bad to you? i can't make head nor tails out of most of it. 3 screenshots of my task manager list. it appears the only thing apart from r1q2 that is taking up cpu usage is system idle process which goes between 80 -99.

i just noticed ur using an intel vid card. what model?
is it onboard? btw did u use the intel vidcard driver or the default Windows driver for intel?

Idk if im right or wrong but my suspiscion is that ur onboard intel card might have something to do bout the lag.
If anyone is using same vidcard they can confirm things.

frame drops dont result in teleporting models... only way they might would be if hes not using async, and i bet he is since hes running r1q2

try using the standard OGL setting in the video menu. From what I understand it isn't AC compatible so AC won't turn on. Then run a test with the R1GL. Then one with the anticheat.dll actuatly not there & see how it plays.

Just curios.

BTW, my wife's laptop has an intel GPU. I got drivers from Intel & it made it MUCH better.

yeah, like i said where did you got the driver for ur vidcard? are you using the default windows autodetect driver or dd u install the intel vid driver?
BTW, try using software mode and see if its still the same.

Anticheat only works in r1gl so it should be better then if he's right.
