a place for you to make suggestions of features/accessories you want to see on tastyspleen or just quake2 in general. this is not official...but hopefully console will atleast take them into consideration. if not, maybe someone will view it and be able to apply it elsewhere.

Howz about a blaster battle tourney?

Change the damage to 50/shot and watch the fun.

The ability to change the time on the tourney servers, if theyre set at 15 its quite long for some people and alot of people wish to change the timelimit, i know you can on tourney3 but i ping pretty bad there, so do a few others and it's a shame we have to play with the time limit in place.

{SX}XSiv: lol, did you get that from when 'blaster master' had people with rails even running from him? if not, you should of seen it, it was hilarious. like 20 people on vanilla were there, and they were all running for their lives, even me, lol!

{SX}Adam: good idea for you high pingers and tourney players, maybe an open vote or request for the timelimit could be arranged with console.

{SX}Om3ga.S: that is a good idea, we need some tourney for the railz people. generally speaking those who prefer the rail over any other weapon usually enjoy the more gameplay it allows you, and also usually are more accurate shooters than others.

all good ideas, and a good start to suggestions, and hopefully your ideas will become reality!

hell, if allowed, i'd even host the blaster server for tastyspleen. though i'm not 100% sure of all the requirements that would take. maybe something could be worked out, never know. though, tastyspleen hosting the blaster server itself would be very good for everyone. also, if there we're to be a blaster server, it'd be great to have brand spankin new maps for it...and I recently viewed some promising ones, which were designed by {WK}TonyStarke and can be previewed at: http://mysite.verizon.net/res73vxn/warrior/starke maps/ check em out! TonyStarke has been trying to get his maps played on tastyspleen a couple of times, but soo far I haven't seen them used. so if you like them, support that mofo, and make his dreams come true too!! hehe.

minor dream feature...

suggestion: Automatic Demo Recordings Available to the public (maybe better to post to the actual makers of the server, but maybe it can be coded as an addon or a mod)

-ever played a kickass game and wanted to rewatch it, but forgot/didn't record a demo?
-suspect someones cheating? they leave before you could record a demo? auto demo recordings available for all to see would clear this up.
-want to make your gameplay better? watch your own demo's and search for areas of possible improvement.

maybe auto record 10 demos of each person, most recent playings. and to clear up any hard drive space issues, maybe have a set time limit before each is deleted automatically to make room for more. i personally would like to see a split screen spectator mode that allows you to see 2 or more players at once

NOTE: these are all ideas, and only that for now. they maybe can/can't be done, but if you post your own ideas, maybe a person that can actually code it might see it and possibly create it.

I can't remember the mod, I keep thinking It's Ultra Quake2, but it was designed to only allow one weapon at a time to be played with unlimited ammo on a rotating cycle.

- Imagine everyone havig shotgun battles over dm1, or chaingun wars in the warehouse.

Levels would rotate every 15-25 mins and the frag limit would have to be quite high but I could see this as a real good chance for ppl to polish up on their doging and firing skills.

If I find the exact mod I'll let you all know.

On respawn, allow 1 rocket or 1 rail shot, to defend against the people who tend to just hang around for repeated kills.

After 6 deaths in a row from the same guy, it gets old and fustrating. Having one shot (hears 8 mile theme music start) equals the playing field vs a blaster

A vanilla ctf server. No one plays on the CTF server anyway, so why not convert it to something more fun. Running around the SP maps and shooting ppl gets boring after a while. Playing CTF on them is tons of fun.
