*cough* Oh look, someone wasn't satisfied with derailing a topic just once.

Anyway... ::)

The UGA and Auburn game today was pretty good. I honestly expected Auburn to run away with this one, not a complete shutout or a completely lopsided score, but I didn't expect Georgia to be a real contender like they proved to be, even taking the lead for a majority of the first half. I don't think Alabama will be able to beat them in two weeks either, so it looks like I'll probably be right about them being a shoe-in for the BCS title bowl. Looks like they'll probably be facing Oregon too, and Oregon kinda struggled a little today. California had a good shot at beating them tonight, but fell short on defense in the last drive that Oregon managed to pull.

Back to the UGA Auburn game though... One of the Auburn defense players, DL Nick Fairley, was playing about as dirty as you can possibly get. He was getting late hits on UGA QB Aaron Murray all damn day, driving him into the ground, which is a big penalty in NFL football and should be in the NCAA too. I can't understand why they haven't made it a rule in college yet. The stupid motherfucker even dove helmet-first at Murray's knees which took him out of the game. That motherfucker needs his ass beat for that shit. UGA hasn't faired too well this season for various reasons, but without him, they are pretty much dead in the water. UGA's backup QB isn't worth a fuck. Murray keeps getting better every week though, so hopefully if they can start next year without having important players like WR A.J. Green suspended, they can start winning all these games that they should have at the beginning of THIS season.
