I would advise you to elaborate on rule 1 as thoroughly as possible to prevent problems. I'd also advise that you strictly enforce it.

1. No hacking of any kind. If you have hacks to check out demos to check for wallhacks, etc, You are to remove them from your quake directory after use. Using any form of cheat/ hack online will get you kicked from the clan immediately.

I foresee a loophole with that wording. Back when I was in EoM, I revised the clan rules to explicitly state the expectations for members and left zero room for false interpretation. One could interpret from your wording that only actively USING the hacks would be frowned upon. You do mention that if someone uses a wallhack to view a demo, they should remove it when they are done. It would be to your advantage to make it known in no uncertain terms that mere possession of known hacks as revealed by any method of scanning while connected to a public server is grounds for immediate termination. This is what I wrote in the EoM rules/policies:

2a. NO CHEATING  of any kind will be tolerated! Cheaters will be terminated! Their IP's will be banned from the [EoM] server, and will be distributed to other admin's for their ban logs!
"Cheating" consists of the following:

    * Use and/or possession of a proxy aimbot on a public server
    * Use and/or possession of wallhacks on a public server
    * Use and/or possession of spiked models on a public server

2b. ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY ZERO TOLERANCE!
If you have been caught cheating before and/or have been terminated from another clan for such an offence, you will NOT be eligible for membership in [EoM]!

Some people may give you shit about part 2b, and I suppose maybe they have a point... on the other hand, they probably have personal reasons for persecuting you for that. They should probably learn to just let it go already. Move forward, commit to enforcing these rules absolutely and immediately when they are broken, and no one will have a leg to stand on when dealing future accusations.

It would probably go a long way to help the clans image by allowing your server to be added to the TS goto list and adopting their ban lists, even if you don't totally agree with it. Think about it this way: Are you willing to allow a handful of individuals to impede your clan's success? I've said it before and I'll say it again, loyalty and friendship is a good thing, but what good are friends that do you no good? It's a difficult decision to make, but it's the responsible one.

I've never said anything against adding the server to the goto or adopting the ban list. It's a very new server, Currently down untill further notice from island55. Once it's up, If my members decide they want it on the goto, I'll have a talk with quadz.
