I had a little inkling that you were recording that.. well whatever.. let me be the first to say it.. SX GOT OWNED BY ONE PERSON, THERE WERE 2 OF US VS ADRENALINE, IT WAS A GOOD MATCH, HE'S A SKILLED PLAYER. now stfu adrenaline. oh, and if there is a 2v2 tourney, WE WILL STILL ENTER.

Keep the recommendations coming. We can't have another tournament without having a lot of support for it. This is only the beginning stages of what should be a very successful fourth tournament. Thanks for the interest and all of the feedback so far. Looks like railz is the favorite with CTF being second.

Let's agree on something that is "friendly" enough to make even the casual tastyspleen player want to join it. The point of the fourth tournament is to break away from what we did in the past...This tournament should differ a lot from the previous ones by trying a new idea that hopefully will attract new players to sign up on the forums and participate in the tournament.

The name KobraKryptic signifies whatever you imagine it to mean. I can ramble on and on about the name since I could always make up some mindless story about it (like acquiring the name after the Kobra Klaws crumbled away in the story, hehe). Laurelin designated me as an admin before the name/icon change, so there goes that theory! ; )

Ja, as said before, ctf tourney would rule. also.. im all for a rails tourney.. and a LONG way off.. but perhaps an action q2 ? (very VERY far idea)

I remember from the first one... I signed on with a few clanmates from (tF)
they droppped out when they found out it wasnt rail... like I SHOULD HAVE!!!
my first dm experience shouldnt have been with Haunted .

so.. maybe a rail tourney would be fun.. I can pull ppl at aw servers who are interested
and guarentee more AW will play besides Reqium

ctf... dunno omega.. ctf was THE experience for large teams... I dunno how a 2 vs 2 ctf would go
smaller maps that might be fun too...

I'm hoping its a DM tourney though...
teams.. one on one.. whateve

4 player FFA sounded interesting...

anyhow.. thats my ramble about it.....

who all has teams here that would enter a 3v3/4v4 railz or ctf tourney? I could talk a couple of ppl from devine into ctf maybe, but I dont see you really having that many railz 4v4 teams at all, I mean you would have to at least have 6 to make a good tourney, even with double elimination its only 3 matches a week tops. seems to me like most of the clans/players here are dm oriented, and the 20-30% of ts players that frequent the railz servers (excluding SX) are more unorganized than any other faction of q2, except for maybe paintabll or lithium, which really don't exist anymore.

a 1v1 railz tourney would be kinda interesting I guess, I think a lot of the dm players would enter it and find it somewhat unsatisfying, if theres any real interest in having a ctf tourney 3v3 or 4v4 I would be willing to participate in the organization of it, I've always wanted to play in one of those.

railz 4v4 is so repetitive don't you think?

yea, i agree!

I actually prefer ffa and railz over 1vs1 and tdm. (yea, im sucking at 1vs1, but ive always liked ffa and railz)
