1976 Blue/Black rally sport Camaro.  It had a 350 engine and auto tranny.  I had a shift kit in it, so I thought I was da-shit running around everywhere chirping second  :headbang:

I would post a pic but I'm to much of a knob to know how to post pics  :dohdohdoh:

'94 ford escort wagon.  Engine blew ~350k miles.  Even had the rear shocks & springs welded in because they went through the body.  :D

My dad used to have a 1962 Chevrolet Imapala SS 327. Wasn't his "first" hot rod, but was definitely his favorite and his baby. It was stolen from our driveway one night when I was just a little kid. Looked pretty much just like this one. Hard top, 2-door, light blue. That was 20 or 30 years ago, and he's still just as pissed about it today as he was the morning he found it stolen. It would be nice if he had some paperwork on it still with the VIN number. I haven't really brought it up or thought about it until just now, but there's a slight chance that the VIN number could still be on it and it's out there somewhere. I know I'd sure love to see him get it back. He does still have some of the old emblems from the rear side panels, the cursive "Impala" logo and the circular "deer and SS" emblem. I've been thinking about one of these years getting it framed along with a old picture of him and the car, maybe even track down an old poster or magazine ad to frame with it and give it to him as a gift for fathers day or xmas one of these years. I dunno though, that might end up reminding him more of how much he misses it and just make him sad all over again.

I do think it would be great if he could get it back again, or if I could win the lottery and buy him another one just like it. It'd make him happier than a pig in shit to have a nice old hot rod to drive around and work on. Especially now that he's finally given in to my mom's nagging for him to get rid of his motorcycle. He finally sold his last motorcycle last fall. Since then, he's taken up his old hobby of... woodworking. I dunno, I just can't believe that building shit out of wood has quite the same appeal as riding motorcycles. I had kinda mixed feelings about it myself. On one hand, I didn't want him getting into another accident on one and getting seriously injured (or worse) at his age, but on the other hand, I know how much fun riding one is and how I personally wouldn't give it up for anything in the world.

I see the deception in this thread, the OP wants everybodies secret question answer!

I've not had a car yet since I can't afford even the license atm, let alone the lessons but I believe one of my dads first cars (at least when I was a kid) was the humble ford sierra. not much to look at, but steady as a rock!

The police car in the background... that's the gayest cop car paint job I've ever seen. It looks like a crew of clowns took a shit on it. :lolsign:

And the steering wheel's on the wrong side. I guess the passenger drives.

A lot of the early great sports cars came out of British Leyland back in my early days. Every male in my high school wanted one. They were all chick magnets and fun to drive. Triumph Spitfire, Austin Healy 3000, MG Midget/MGB, Austin Mini Cooper and the ultimate - Jaguar XKE. But we were all completely baffled why they were all so poor mechanically. Maybe it was the cold Canadian weather.

Oh and the Jag has to be British Racing Green

If you buy a Jaguar, it's customary to buy TWO: One to drive, and one more to drive while the other one's in the shop.

My dad had a midnight blue TR4A that was fucking PIIIIMP, but he sold it before we moved to Cali.
I always wanted to drive that damn car, and it was gone for years before I was old enough.

Here's a nice green one, but this car has a lot of differences from year to year. Maybe this is the one...

My first car was a 1979 Pontiac Parisienne 4-Door with the 305 CI engine. It was ok, not the best car, very smooth ride up to 90MPH. LOL that's how high the Speedo went! Seats, trim and finish were all in very good shape. The guy who sold it to me was like 99, and could not drive anymore, so he gave it to me for $500.  The first thing I did was get rid of those gawd-awful silver and red hubcaps, and used one of those 'fake' rims: hubcaps! I tinted the windows, put in new stereo and speakers, and threw in a Pioneer Sub in the trunk.  Not too bad for a 79 with only 300K on it.

Mazda 3 GT 2009

Exactly like these pictures just without the GT interior (leather) and we got the Mazdaspeed Suspension and Sway bars hooked up. Looking to see if the dealer will drop it a few inches and get rims that look similar to these: http://www.seekernetinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/mazda3-mps-extreme.jpg
