failed to load ref_gl.dll

all of a sudden my quake2 plays in software mode and i can't get it back to default open gl mode. i get an error saying failed to load ref_gl.dll. i have tried to re install the .dll file and still nothing

Try these... put em in the quake2 folder

The command is

vid_ref "gl"
or

Code: [Select]

vid_ref "r1gl"

I know some people have thought that you typed "vid_ref ref_gl", but that will fail.
