lot of players do once they learn how awesome ssg is one dueler i can think of who is quite good and uses ssg A LOT is kyuss, kind of annoying to play against

Here I am, not even a TDM player, and I was duped into believing that SSG's were quite popular as a finishing weapon as well as highly effective for charging down controlled areas when RL is not available. kyuss's ssg was never notable enough for me to even recall it as being a good ssg. neticz is the only player that stands out in my mind w/ a crazy accurate ssg. People would even call him out for being 'all ssg' in the same context the someone would say 'you're all rail'.

eh ive seen some old demos of kyuss playing on dm1 where he made some well known player rage quit because he had like 100% ssg, and ive also noticed him make extremely good use of it in tdm and ive seen him make good use of it in 1v1 vs myself

its not the best ssg, but he uses it a lot and it works out quite well for him

kyuss is just a good example because he still plays, i might have maybe seen this neticz guy once on t4 or maybe not at all

just watched a demo i thought i remembered his ssg was good on... your right lol his aim with ssg isnt all that great, i guess i just like how he uses it more often on dm1 than most people, even if he has chain, rl and rail, he still uses ssg a lot and it really works out because it deals some large amounts of damage... most players seem to ignore ssg if they have chain and RL in 1v1

btw I was just recently on the dm server, and I kept getting shot by the super shotgun from some player, and the force of the super shotgun pushed me back with an unusual force that was probably 2 or 3 times as stronger than usual. Is this a cheat? hack?

probably just hitting more direct shots, the more damage dealt the higher the knockback... a full blast of ssg has as much knock back as a perfect rocket jump basically

what vae meant is that it has similar force to a rocket, not an rj. When you use the knockback from the rocket with an RJ, you're jumping with it in order to get optimum distance... I would guess that just by chance, you were jumping with the blast and it had it had a similar effect.

ive seen the pop out of the water on q2dm1 coupled with a full blast of ssg, the person almost flew into the mh room before they touched the ground its 120 dmg of knockback, quite a large amount, it may just seem higher than you expected because the particular person was much more accurate than most noobs youll find playing ffa, most players with good aim seem to prefer rail in ffa instead of ssg so i could understand not seeing solid ssg work very often
