The two maps before this when I was playing, I noticed him making really snappy rail shots. That's not out of the question. Plenty of people can do that. However, I don't know many people who can steadily stick their crosshair to someone with a chaingun like this guy does. Watch demo #2, at the 2nd and 3rd frags with the timescale as low as it'll go. His crosshair bounces back and forth between the opponents.

Any official verdict on this? Would be nice to know this guys others aliases. He deserves a little bit of shit for this if he's in fact a known regular. Judging from his movement and jump knowledge, he isn't some complete noob who just got a bot and Quake2 working yesterday. He also know's enough to keep the bot fov pretty low.

The jerky chain and seeing how horrible his RL aim was, in comparison to chain/rg(it's that horrible in comparison), is what convinced me that AC should be forced.

Play the 2nd demo back at 1/2 speed. Even naymlis and ah! don't have chains THAT sticky. Also, he seems to either have VERY good sound prediction or he's walling too (watch how he jumps out to look through closed doors). Also at the stairs going down near the BFG/mega, he knows when people will come up them. I don't have wallhacks for viewing demos, so I'm not certain, but those still appears suspicious.

i have to disagree with you, slightly anyway, about no one having a chain that 'sticky'. Aside from the bot's jerkiness it's just a normal, but great chain...i think i'd rather chain battle with him than BotHanG.

View his rail and chain frags with the timescale at 0.1, you'll see the bot doing all the aiming. I have to disagree, I have never seen anyone with a chain that smooth. Some people can move their mouse pretty smooth, but they still kinda jerk and follow the person incrementally, especially while THEY are in motion. Like I said, view the 2nd the 3rd frags with the timescale at 0.1, you'll see the telltale jerky motion of the bot bouncing back and forth between the two players.

What made me start being suspicious was how his ping was 10 or 15ms higher than mine, yet he was always able to get a shot off before me around corners, even when I was making no noise and I knew exactly where he was. I think he probably WAS using a wallhack too, not that it matters when you have evidence this clear of him using an aimbot.

I think if this person is a regular under an alias, we all deserve to know who he is, and he deserves to be shit on for a while.

I had noticed that as well.  AC has been forced since shortly after Focalor's initial post.
