you thinking that people 'need' to play other maps doesn't mean anything... If you keep getting counterpicked to dm1 and getting owned, the fault isn't with the person whose good on dm1, sorry.

This isn't the sg cup. This is NADL, and it has different people running it, different rules, it lasts over a month, and this tournament will have better players at it. I already have a good idea of what maps "naymlis"(since you mentioned him) doesn't like anyway, BUT, there's already maps on the list that he's exceptional at (especially against good euros who are used to timers..........) that some despise playing. If there's 1-2 maps you don't like on the list....... then don't assume that it's a bad thing. I'm sure some don't like some of the maps that you're good at(are you even any good at specific maps? idk).

its not that people just arent good on the map... its that they dislike it, and if you put too many maps that people wont like into the map pool then you will actually lose participation...

this isnt the golden age of quake2 where you could probably just get a league going full of good players at the drop of a hat, you really have to think about how to make people want to participate... look at the SG cup, most of the active players didnt even participate

It's perfectly normal to participate in a league with a 7 map pool, and have 1-2 maps that aren't favorable to you in the list. Please try to deal with it. I've been watching people experiment with q2rdm7 lately, and a few so far have labeled it as more fun, and/or a better duel map than km/duel5. I already told you that I plan on being extremely fair with this, and my fairness has never been in question. I said that I would run a vote as well. I've ran, and admin'd several leagues in the past in q2, well past it's "golden age". You have NO clue what you're talking about in regard to participation. I could contact a handful of people in a day and get more talent than the SG cup offered. The thing occurred in one day, and shun is even more clueless than you as to how to properly run a something in q2, no offense to him. I'm sure it was a learning experience for him.

If you don't like how I'm doing it, then don't participate.

q2dm1, q2rdm2, q2rdm7, ztn2dm2, ztn2dm3, q2duel5, ptrip(yes euros like it,it is a good map,wonder why us players hates it), aeroq2, match1

the timelimit can be 15min,it is long but can be fun in some duels(for comeback in the matches  )

americans dont hate ptrip, just a lot of us dont play it much... its one of jehars favorite maps, there are a few exceptionally good players on it here

Yes I wanted to post a week ago, before I left for Ohio, my bad.

I'm planning on starting sign-ups in mid-september, I get back from out of state on the 14th... Maybe we can get the round robin to kick off during the month of october? What do you guys think?

and everyone post their input on map selection, if they haven't already.
