r1q2 crash

all of a sudden when i go to load q2 through xfire, or even r1q2 on its own it crashes straight away. i have deleted q2 and reinstalled off a usb (i don't have the q2 cd) and it still crashes and says "program not reponding". what could be happening? i was happily playing on irtdm then when i type goto railz it crashes and haven't been able to get back on since
