That is dependent on the server/mod

Tastyspleen has the damage for rail on the rail server set very high,  but didn't always have it like that.
Long time back it was regular so the bodies stuck around.   

Thread debating this waaaaay back during a mod type change for railz and quadz went with gibs (Good choice)
