i can see a point behind wanting PURRI to play... best player in the world brings in some publicity... but then our NA players dont get any spot light, and people think quake2 in NA is dead or just a bunch of noobs >_>

id rather have NA players play in a fucking NA cup... silent gamers will most likely hold another sgcup and perhaps more down the line... and if more and more euros start playing, LESS AND LESS NA PLAYERS CAN PLAY and it will do the fucking opposite of what the intentions were for having the cup... it will make it harder and harder for any NA competition to actually happen

Maybe it was the tournament organizers intentions to spark some a NA competition, but I find that idea hard to believe and laughable. If this was NA event only, they wouldn't have allowed the Greece or Portugal player to enter the tournament.

There's no middle ground between the netherlands and the US in terms of servers and equal pings, sooo.... yeah.

Purri is gonna have a 100 ping. Prolly wont matter tho, if you listen to guys like arch (which no one should).

What if a NA player wins, that would sure get some Pub.  I think its stupid to keep anyone out.
They are coming to play at a NA site which will make it at least a little bit harder for them.

I should signup, if I played Purri, I would have to record for the first time ever    If i got a good spawn and he had severe packet loss, I might get a frag
