if you aren't already, use a solid color fabric mousepad.

I use my mouse on my wooden desk at home, or on the carpet in the back of the University library. My mouse is a wireless logitech mini laser mouse. Would using a mousepad help my aim?

I meant on the wooden desk, since I can't take a mousepad to UC.

When I used a wireless mouse/kb combo I found that the signals between the devices would overlap and cause all kinds of grief for me. It happens when you have the mouse and keyboard inline with the receiver.
Hope you get to the bottom of it.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
