CATIA came up when I was doing some background checking on some different architectural CAD capabilities when researching for some conceptual home improvements and renovation software I'm currently working on. It's made by Dassault Systemes, and seems to be the leader in the market. One of the unique things about CATIA are its capabilities of physical simulations on mechanical objects (e.g. modeling aspects of fluid dynamics on inclined planes). Some of these simulations just arn't possible without very large workstations or a cray supercomputer.

I recently came across a gold mine of these engineering renderings. I've got rockets, missiles,engines, satellites, planes,trains, automobiles....It's awesome. Do you know where I can find a CATIA model for a Boeing 747? I'd like to see how much geometry is behind one of these meshes, plus I'm going to build something cool.

Speaking of "Where are they" It says here that daelmun reffed 1 match in this year's NADL.

But I see no demo.

Daelmun's name was used by Haunted I believe it was because he refd his own game vs Reflex. Either that or Adren used it.
