YOU TRY PLAYING WITH PACKET LOSS LIKE THIS >_> and not just ffa, not just some instagib, duel with it, against good players

This was taken just before king of the hill >_> wasnt much better when i was playing

It didn't really look like it affected your match too much. At the beginning you had something like 45% rail and were winning. Right on cue when you started losing, you start complaining about your pl. This didn't surprise anyone who was watching.

sure looked like it didnt effect my match because im not a noob -.- try playing when you cant hear rails hitting you, you dont hear jump pads, water splashes, falling sounds, so you have no idea where the person is, you have trouble aiming with tracking weapons, you get stuck on stupid jumps you normally wouldnt...

if there was no packet loss, i woulda won... i couldnt play smart, all i could do was rely on half of my game, and i dont like playing that way

I doubt it. Gaudeamus looked pretty damn pro to me. You held up well against him though.

might work for ffa :/ doesnt work for me... ive always relied on sound to play, i have acquired aim since i started playing, but ive always tried to form a style that is built on head game rather than aim... gaud is good, but i should be able to beat him -.- guess ill just have to try again another day...

just really frustrating every koth i get packet loss like that :/ i really practiced a ton, and got a lot better, but while i was improving a ton, jehar wasnt having koth

and then when he finally starts running koth again, packet loss starts so no one can see how good i got... just frustrating because the people that win the event are the people i can play either close games with or win against if my connection is stable

Nah, it was from the server to my client obviously. I typed LAG in console and got 0% PL client to server. Gazza was complaining about it too. It seems to be gone now. No worries.

it seems to hit me in waves with variable amounts of packet loss :/ from a completely solid connection at some points in the day, to 10%+ on bad parts, the screenshots i have posted are not even the worst of it...
