ZETHERSRA1 Map on Railz

Not sure what is going on, but I can not get into that map, it tries to download but gets to a specific texture then errors out.

Could there be something corrupted with the texture download paths on the server? This is the only map that gives me an issue when downloading, it used to work prior to a reimage. Then I had to download all the maps again, but for some reason ZETHERSRA1 will not download correctly.

download the map and textures manually then

or you can just turn off downloading textures

Does anyone know where I can get it manually? I have checked on the download section before, but never saw it listed under single maps, unless I just missed it.

I can get into the map but I see warnings in the console. I'm not surprised that the map's textures are "incorrectly referenced" because zethersra1 is a sloppy cut 'n paste job. Looks like all the author did was de-compile the map in2obl and rip out entire areas, then he closed the thing up and called it his map. The texures he used came with the map in2obl.bsp, so to manually download the textures again you need to download that zip which can be found @ http://deaconstomb.org/pub/q2/maps/in2obl.zip   Maybe replacing them will fix the loading problem but I doubt it.

Damn map will still not load, saved the textures listed above to my baseq2/textures folder, also redownloaded the .bsp as well.

Go to your "rails\textures\kell_apoc" folder and delete "zstn3_16.wal.tmp".
Obviously the download got corrupted .

BTW, Acer, incorrectly referenced textures are a bug with QuArK 6.2 and 6.3 (and possibly more). It references custom textures in the .map file with a "\" rather than the correct "/".

I'm not computer whiz, but Slayer's idea sounds kosher to me. A bad file that started downloading, was somehow interrupted in the middle, and can't be opened again. Go back into that directory, find that file, try to remove it, then try connecting to a server running that map again so your client can download the entire file. Being that it's a TMP temporary file, it might be hidden or difficult to delete by normal means. If that doesn't work, then perhaps the server side copy of that file is just corrupt.

It's no more difficult to delete than any other file. Also, Quake II/r1q2 doesn't set the "H" flag on the file so it is visible even without "Show hidden files and folders" turned on.

For purposes in case server file is corrupt, I have included it here.

Neither that file nor directory even existed under my rails directory. I just created the folder and put the file in it and it finally loaded.
