help with elysiums coloured skins

i downloaded elysiums coloured  skins and i just can't get it to work. i followed his instructions "All you need is R1GL that I linked in my post. Download and place it in your Quake 2 directory, then just set 'vid_ref r1gl' in autoexec.cfg file". I have done both and still won't work. any help?

the pak file itself should be located in c:\quake2\baseq2

the autoexec.cfg file should also be there

yep i have done both. still doesn't work

ok i got it to work but they r not very bright. i would say they make no difference. and also it has fucked up my crosshair. even after i remove the pak my cosshair is fucked
