Yes it's that time of year again! The time when I make my anual pilgrimage to the nearest GWAR show. This time it's at club soda in montreal, this Sunday. Those who live within 500 miles are strongly encouraged to go. It will be worth every cent and every minute you spend. I plan on drinking heavily and crowdsurfing alot.

Last nite I met an old buddy who I haven't seen for 3 years. This dude knows metal dude - it's fuckin scary how much knowledge he has. You can ask him just about anything about any band, and he'll be able to give you answers. The amount of music he listens to is also amazing. He's even into GWAR. He also listens to DevilDriver, Ill Nino, Killswitch Engage, Mudvayne, among other bands who you'll probably love n0c, but I ain't heard of before. Ouch I was also high on cigarettes (we had a smoke-inhaling competition - I almost went unconcience LOL). It was a fucking good nite tho. Anyway, what GWAR track is your fave?

I got back at 2 am on monday, then had class at 8. Which sucked because i was still drunk.

The show was amazing

Before the show, everyone in the line had joints, so i just drank 8.1 percent alchohol LaBatt's (horse piss in a bottle) and smoked until the doors opened an hour and a half late. The first band was amazing. I never caught their name but they ruled. GWAR was on next. They played alot of stuff from the new album (war party) and some older stuff, including a medely of most of the songs from Hell-o. They killed a bunch of people, and oderus started puking on stage, which was not part of the show, but was quite funny. After GWAR was done everyone left. I think about 10 people stuck around for devildriver.

Montreal is definitely a kickass place to see a show.

I have to agree on this. Montreal is really a good place for shows. I've been to over 200 shows in that area and most of them were great.

Yeah this was no exception, you missed out bigtime. Good fucking show. I was piss drunk so i moshed the whole time.
