Being able not to find the words to express yourself in just about any situation whether it's trying to defend yourself or even just someone giving you a simple compliment.  If someone says something nice to me, I probably will just give them a generic "Thanks." instead of telling them how much I really appreciate it.

And not being able to help someone you care for out with personal problems they are experiencing.  Just kind of makes me feel insignificant to know that my words fail to improve their state-of-mind...whatever it may be.

When i come to think of it.. though i tend not to like it, the worse feeling for me is when i have to tell people that my dad is dead, and the worst feeling was knowing that id never see him again on that morning id got up for school and my mum told me, i wanted to curl up and die.

Hi Adam, sorry to hear about your loss. I've been there too; I lost my mother when I was 13.  You just have to keep plugging on man.

Trapt

desserted in fields of mushrooms
trapted in empty hollow rooms
listening to my silent scream
living my life on a dream

words are spoken
but not yet forgotten
if they could only see
that this music is calling me

sleeping awake
how long will it take?
watching the still landscape
listening to my only escape

My grandmother was in pretty bad shape (but not near death).

My brother called me on a Sat. and told me - Mom is dead. I replied, you mean Grandmother, he said no Mom.

It was totally unexpected and really hit me hard.

When my grandmother dies it will prolly be my "worst feeling" although it might almost be merciful... she had 1 lung taken out in 78, they told her she had a year to live... 7 years later (1985) they took out half of the other lung, said she probably wouldnt make it two months! Shes the most amazing beautiful person ive ever met, but she can hardly cross the room without stopping and taking a break, shes contstantly got a tube running under her nose from her annoyingly loud oxygen machine.. but she is the best person ive ever met, and i doubt i will find anyone better

NOTE: when the doc's told her how much time she had to live, she told them "Go fuck yourselves ive got kids to raise" (8 of them!) i consider her to be the most stubborn person ive met as well, it really wouldnt surprise me if she outlives all of us.. as i like to say, "she has her teeth sunk into life and she just wont let go.. everytime death comes knocking, she chucks a book at his head" (long inside joke/story)
