That's pretty impressive. I've assumed that they use a shit ton of cgi in most TV shows but it's something different entirely to see just how they do it.

Impressive, yes, that's the word. And a little bit scary too.

How far we've gone, how real and crisp it looks.
Not so long ago (in the 80's and early 90's,) that kind of technique gave rather ridiculous results; today, we can pretty much fake reality, to some extent. I wonder what's next, but I don't really want to find out....

Anyway, that reminds me of those video's about our "exponential times."
