If you're looking for a way to quit smoking- this is the way to go. I felt the book touched on the same little topic too much, repeating over and over. Made me think, This guys baked on so much shit, But after reading through it, I kept saying to myself, "The more I hear this, The more it makes sense" I haven't even completly read the book yet, But I'm proud to say I'm no longer a smoker. For any of you that smoke because you're addicted, bored, trying to be social, or just don't think life would be quite the same without that little shit stick between your fingers, this book is for you.

Maybe this will help my girlfriend. It was easy for me to quit smoking, but I still tend to smoke a pack some nights under the right influences...

i won't smoke a single butt for a week until I decide to and if i decide to maybe I'll two packs that night, who knows. people are just weak minded and baby themselves.

Talking about tabacco, Haunted go ahead and read it, there's nothing to lose but a couple hours, It will eliminate the urge to smoke, rather then tell you it's going to kill you, Hope it helps

I've never had an urge to smoke though(sober). The only reason I would check this thing out is to see if it would have any use in helping my girlfriend to stop chain-smoking menthols. I know why she does though, and it's nothing to do with nicotine addiction. More so an 'addiction' to the social activity of pulling out a cigarette when you see someone else pull one out..which leads to me seeing her smoke many cigarettes I consider completely unnecessary. I mean I catch myself doing it plenty when I'm drunk too... but only other substances actually make me 'want' one.

That's exactly what a nicotine addiction is, To make you think you want one not need, That it just tastes so fucking bad, that you say "I'll never get addicted to this fuckin stuff" Then you continue to smoke for social reasons, something to do with your hand, or you just see life empty and boring without smoking

I'm attempting to quit smoking again today. I quit for probably a month or two late last year. I'd see someone on TV or in public lighting up and think to myself, "Damn, I bet that tastes like fucking immortal heaven." When I started back, I noticed exactly how shitty cigarettes really tasted. Especially Camels. I switched Marlboro's and they didn't taste nearly as bad. I worked my way down to Marlboro Lights. The past 2 cartons I bought were Ultra Lights, which is like smoking air. Just finished my last one a few minutes ago with a cup of coffee. I went yesterday and got a tin of these Camel Snus spitless snuff pouches. They're like the Skoal Bandit pouches, only you don't have to spit.

My worst problem with quitting smoking isn't necessarily the act of smoking itself, its more the withdrawal which manifests itself in the form of MASSIVE mood swings and agitation. If I don't get any nicotine for 12 to 24 hours, I start getting pissed off very very easily. Someone can ask me a question about some little something and I'll jump their shit with an attitude like I'm ready to fist fight. That's where the spitless snuff comes in. If I feel myself starting to get a little pissed, I'll pop one in. You're supposed to spit it out after 30 minutes or less, but I'll usually kinda chew on it for an hour or more until it starts to break open.

I dunno. It seemed to help last time. We'll see. So if I seem a little more vulgar and confrontational than usual in the next few days, it's not me, it's the lack-o-tobacco.

Yeah they started tasting very bad to me too man, that and coughing up loads and loads of shit.. ugh. I'm an asthmatic too haha. But yeah, I conformed to marlboro lights as well eventually and it's still the only cigarette I can enjoy smoking really.

If you don't wanna quit, Or you don't think you have to, Doesn't matter. No one ever says you HAVE to quit. If you don't like killing yourself slowly though, eventually not being able to run or do simple tasks for lack of breath, Just read the book, Smoke while you read it, Just for something to do, I promise you won't regret it.
