I dunno about jaw dropping. The production is definitely great. All of the drums sound 100% on-time, almost unhuman. With dubbing techniques these days, they can make a human being on an acoustic drum kit sound almost mechanical. I'm assuming occasionally they'll record one specific cymbal or drum at a time to an individual track for added clarity. It gives a great clean flawless sound, but I'm still a fan of bands that mic it all up and record all the drums all at once. And the guitar is kinda the same way. Just two guys playing different intervals to create a harmony. The extreme precision of it's sound leads me to believe it's been heavily tweaked for timing with some kind of software. Not trying to diminish their talent or anything, but these days music has become so computerized and modulated that it's hard to identify someone truly talented. Hell, even I can play at a semi-steady steady rhythm using a loop-based recording program from 1998. The existence of Britney Spears is proof that you can make anyone into a musician.

Pretty cool, though. Never heard of these guys before. Not a huge fan of melodic stuff like that, but occasionally I'll listen to it.

I'm sure doing this on stage is alot less clean than it sounds--who is that on point at all times? (I wish I could play..even badly lol)  glad you enjoyed it though, the music is even better with a fat bong pack.

I have a boombox on my back porch where I do my morning coffee and wake-n-bake ritual. Been mainly listening to Hank Williams Jr's - greatest hits album, The Stooges - The Weirdness, and this Rebel Meets Rebel CD my buddy brought me. Pretty cool, it's Pantera minus Phil Anselmo with David Allan Coe on vocals.

Not a bad song, they unfortunately give me that "Trivium" vibe. About the only "metalcore" band I can stand is All That Remains. Some good guitar work, but nothing really that crazy imo.

Exactly the same with me. They're even one of my favorite bands to be honest.

There's a few decent bands like in flames that kind of went metalcore, then put out some cool songs and some gay songs.

+ a few random songs and that's all the 'metalcore' i listen to.

@armor, these songs were pretty cool. I've heard of sylosis I think but couldn't even remember what they sounded like.
