It's been fixed.  He had two restrictions.  (1) ShortBus, and (2) "Cannot Post" (via the forum ban system.)  Turns out neither of those affected voting in polls.

Now, ShortBus explicitly prohibits poll voting.

The no vote, to maintain the ban on the q2 servers also suggests a permanent ban on irc as well. I DO agree with the quake 2 ban. I don't agree with the latter.

you can maintain the ban on him on q2 servers but unban him at irc.. at least he can still see  (specially at ts-live) and talk to other players.. Makes himm drool.

ya see, what we have here is a failure to communicate.

regardless of this poll, he's currently unbanned on the irc channel and all he does is come in daily and spam about how he should be unbanned from the servers because he's turned over a new leaf in the week and a half or so during which he went through q2 withdrawal for being a fuckin liar, spoofer and cheater and getting what he deserved for it.

to that I say: boohoo.

There is no reason to alleviate his "suffering" which he brought on himself, at the expense of the rest of the people who will have the misfortune of dealing with him.

He hasn't learned anything other than how to act pitiful and pretend like he needs a 4th chance to be an idiot on the servers to finally prove it to everyone that he's not worth having around. The first 3 times were bad enough, and he's still trying to sell his bullshit sob story in irc, as if he didn't spoof players, cheat against everyone, and lie straight to our faces on multiple occasions.

Nothing has changed, and nothing will.

This is the very same person who spent HOURS reconnecting past his ban to get a couple of telefrags before admins were forced to blackhole his connection. He's not sorry, he hasn't changed, he's just a persistent little shit.
