I've doublejumped from the floor off the two lower ammo boxes to the YA before, but I just realized you can double jump from standing on the little shoebox ammo box off the ammo box and onto the little shoebox just below the YA

I just thought of something, is it possible to do that same jump only land on the big YA box itself? I tried, but can't do it.

after seeing your demo I tried and came really damn close, but never made it. From the back wall with armor shards, jump once holding forward, then double jump off the lower box holding strafeleft and forward. That will give you enough height and ALMOST enough distance. Someone else who keeps at it may land it.

it's doable with a runup from the floor like peewee is suggesting, but it's not a very consistent one even for some good players.

If you start the runup aiming your crosshair at the line on the wall behind and to the right of the YA box, and then while in mid jump smoothly turn your crosshair to the left in an arc, you will make it quite a bit more often than trying to go straight to it. With enough practice it can actually become a viable move in real play as opposed to just a fun trick jump that'll get you killed.

sadly, from standing still on the little box next to the ammopack box, I don't think it'll work.
I tried for a while and didnt get much closer.

here's a lil demo of the most common way of gettin there using a runup to get speed and height and a little circle in the air for that extra distance.

It's possible from standing still on the small box, but then it's pretty hard. With the little jump before it, it should be quite easy.

Initially, I was trying with cl_maxfps "120". Then I shifted to cl_maxfps "22", and that was when I started getting close. Sorry about the length of the demo, I started the demo and then forgot to stop it between attempts.

Just to prove I didn't cheat by modifying sv_gravity or something else stupid, here is the same jump done on IRTDM. (This also proves that you can do it with 50 ping.)

Good job. But still, this is a jump that many players can do. And I mean the version where you stand still on the box. It is not that easy but you can just do it with maxfps 120.
