No. This is the part where you get it through your fat stupid head that NO ONE AROUND HERE WANTS CHEATERS PLAYING. You don't like not being able to play? No one else around here likes playing with cheats like you. Karma is a bitch like that.

If for some reason you ever WERE graced with the opportunity to come back after some period of time and play again, you can bet your gay little ass that you won't be able to do so without using anticheat. I'm gonna do something for you that probably no one else will be gracious enough to do. I'm gonna spoonfeed you a good plan to come back:

After 6 months to a year, come back, be humble and ask nicely. Show genuine remorse for your actions. Promise to never repeat the same mistakes and then follow through with that promise. Do not complain about being forced to use anticheat because that will only mean that you still aren't ready to accept responsibility for your actions. If you can do that, then there is a chance that you might be allowed to return.

In case you're wondering what the big deal about it is, let me give you my perspective on it.

Back when Quake2 came out, before there were any real measures in place to prevent people from cheating, an awful lot of people were using bots and wallhacks. Games on servers would be underway and then inevitably some dickhead with a ratbot would come in and start railing everyone out of their backs because they'd turn the autofire on and jack the FOV up to 360. It would clear out the server like a fucking nuclear beer fart. Some people got fed up with it and stopped playing Quake2 completely. The few of us left around here that still really enjoy this game don't want to see this small community dwindle any more than it is and become vacant because of that shit. We need others players to have games. Despite what you may be thinking, most of us including myself don't just decide to pick shit with new guys like you in an effort to make you leave. We like the fact that you're a new player around here who plays frequently. It actually HELPS the community. But if you're going to cheat, it's only going to HURT the community and we want you gone to where your cheating bullshit isn't going to cause other people to make the choice to leave.

It's plain and simple. Play legit or JEE TEE EFF OH.

It's not up to me, man. You'll have to ask Quadz if it's even possible to EVER be unbanned. He's the H.N.I.C. around here. Being that he hasn't already mentioned that there was a time period for the ban, it's entirely possible that you might not be able to come back at all.

I was thinking something on the order of three months.  But, anticheat will be required.  So if true.wallhacker considers that tantamount to a permanent ban because he refuses to use AC, that's his problem.


BTW, regarding anticheat, true.wallhacker may be interested to know the programmer who implemented AC is the same person responsible for FIXING multiple security vulnerabilities in Q2:

3 months sounds fair... and maybe AC is ok... but for the next 3 months i will be bored! 

anywho... I downloaded the eraser bot... so i can play against bots by myself... any idea how to play rails with eraser bots?
