hmmmm.... I've seen that error before. It's easy to get by I just forget how. Someone will know.

Place the attached file in "c:/quake2/baseq2/pics". If there is no folder named "pics" in your baseq2 folder, create it and then put it there. That should work.

The alternative would be to use a pak editing program like PakScape and open the pak0.pak file in the baseq2 folder. If there is no colormap.pcx in the pics folder of that pak file, stick it in there, go to FILE, then save.

Yes, I figured it out. I didn't have colormap or pak0.pak. Man playing quake is bad, I can't remember any of the commands or anything. It took me like 2 games of DM to realize I didn't have always run on...
