would be great to do a locked thread that cant get filled with just talking posts like this one

could fill it with the match stats and stuff like peewee did in that post that way theres a good record kept in its own thread, and it could be stickied

I like the idea of a new thread per week.  Posting the winner and allowing people to comment on the match, post demos, etc..

thats what i meant lol a new thread thats locked so people cant flood it with posts, it would just have each weeks results

I figured that we'd move to using some kind of db app to store this stuff eventually. It's still good to get the raw data recorded before the db is set up. It's a pretty small amount of information to go back and enter by hand and it gives us some test data to configure things how we want it.

the good part is they have all been recorded so we can go back and find out scores and the previous weeks that you didnt write down, that way it will be a running record from start to current

hey RR wouldnt it be a good idea to merge the "past kings" and "current king" list with the first post, that way its not all fragmented by random spam? and its right there to see when you open the thread up

I was thinking about adding the kings (past and current) to the first post at the bottom. Not fully sure why I haven't. Maybe it's laziness. Well that or forgetfulness...

This is quite fun. It may not be for everyone but it miraculously translates well for 1v1 on pc.




Also, I think it'd be fun one week to have slugs start at the beginning and throw everyone at him regardless of skill level. Basically an endurance challenge. Not a suggestion for every week. Just something that happens once in a while.

...I mean slugs -was- being a whiny person all last night, but he is the reigning champ so we'll give him a pass
