Reminds me of a computer service call I made at a law office friend of mine. He claimed he had a hacker taking over his machine whenever he was using it. Random windows popping up, mouse cursor moving by itself. Spent about an hour scanning for root kits and backdoors. He and his wife (who worked in the office too) talking about the symptoms, suddenly it dawns on me, they described it happens only when he's working on it, and every time he calls her to come see, it stops. Turned out to be wireless mice, his 'n hers, she being way in the back office doing the data entry and research on case law - this was before bluetooth mice. Sure enough, she went to the back office and started clicking on stuff and his mouse cursor started moving on it's own and opening random desktop items, etc. Funny as hell and we all heaved a sigh of relief that the "hacker" had been found. Went to dinner and had more laughs.
