Too bad I missed this and that the demo is 3rd person perspective.  The demo showed some visible packet loss.  Don't know, perhaps it was affecting all players.

Certainly wasn't Brixtors best performance.

Hi, .... strange.

I hope there wasn't some deliberate malicious attempt to steal your bandwidth going on.  But if I read that screenshot correctly, it's showing data for 4 packets per page... times 20 pages... 80 packets.

Keep in mind if you have a cl_maxfps of 90, your quake client is sending out 90 packets per second... that's 81,000 packets over the course of a 15 minute match.  Even if someone got ahold of your IP and threw 80 packets at you over the course of a game, it's unlikely you'd notice it---kind of a "drop in the bathtub" level of interference... shouldn't even show up on your netgraph.

Anyway - my point, however irritating it may be - is that if--for whatever reason--you got hit with a few dozen stray or bogus packets during the match, it shouldn't have been enough to contribute noticably to whatever lag problems you may have experienced.  Meaning, if you were lagging during the match, the explanation probably lies elsewhere.  (Or, at the very least, it would mean you got hit with a steady stream of stuff that wasn't reported by your router in that screenshot page.)

Sorry to be a PITA, just trying to point out that if you were experiencing lag, what that screenshot shows is probably not the reason.

i was playing last night for a couple hours just before that time and was experiencing pl and odd lag.  It just happens sometimes.  i doubt you were maliciously attacked.  i think it was just normal old lag and p/l.

I sat at the router page, and cleared the log.. and would refresh the page once ( out of game .. with next to nothing running save for icq ) and would have 20 pages full of the same exact thing.. random ip's doing the same thing to me .    My router only holds 20 pages of logs then it starts overwriting.  As i was refreshing it was happening just as fast.  Each refresh ( one click on refresh for the log after clearing ) equaled 20 pages of logs .
