250 ping sucks. But I'll stick to what I said.. with 90-110 ping, sometimes I play better because it forces me to play more conservatively(i'm impatient usually) and think more about my prediction shots. My chain/rail accuracy are at least close in europe to what it is in NA (in eu about 16% with chain and 25-30% with rg..)

But, It's really hard to gain back control as high ping against a campy 20 pinger though. So mistakes hurt you more as high ping, even if you're able to compete with them. Knowing that it's really hard for a high-pinger to gain back momentum (euro playing in NA), most wins against decent euros are attained through out-camping them... at least to some extent. The worst(boring/gay/camping) case scenario would be a euro playing manipulator on dm1(blood is 2nd), but not every one plays on the ping disadvantage like that.... I do pretty much the opposite.

Your attempts at using logic are astoundingly poor, you're arguing points that were not even brought up, and you still don't get it.

The guy who said 250 ping doesnt matter to him was correct. He probably doesn't play a lot better with any ping.
He's a relatively new player and doesn't play this all day every day hoping that one day he can almost get a frag on someone like purri (which you seem to do). He just plays to have a good time and doesn't take this seriously. Last time I played him, the score was around 1:8 for him in itdm, and he didn't run his lip or act like a tard like you would have done.


on to your other idiotic shit:

* I don't claim to be great at this game. You seem to try and fail at doing this on a regular basis. Claiming to be great at q2 is not required of a person before they can understand how this game works and make logical conclusions based on the skill level of another. You seem to have an ego the size of sweden, and jack shit to back it up.

* I have an xfire user bar right under my post that shows that I do in fact play q2 frequently. When I have time, and I'm not working or maintaining my car and house or my relationship with my girl, I play some q2 and I enjoy myself.

I doubt you can say the same without being more full of shit than you already are.

* I rarely if ever play a duel or tdm game. This is common knowledge. When I have time to play, there's rarely anyone on, and if they are, it's on t4 where I ping about 100 and they ping 20, so I don't bother. The last time I did play some duels was more than a year ago in a tournament that about 4 euros even had the balls to join, and I didn't see your ugly ass on the roster.

I didn't win any matches and didn't expect to, because:

1. before that I'd played maybe 15-20 duels ever.
2. my ego is not humongous like yours
3. I was playing against people who were showing me how to duel in q2 at the time, and who'd been doing so for years already.

If having the nuts to sign up for a tournament that you know you won't win, and playing all your duels against far better opponents makes a person an "uberbig newb" (or whatever your illiterate ass is trying to say) then what would you consider someone who is too much of a pussy to even sign up when it was a well known tourney in which plenty of people that they regularly try to shit talk were competing?

* in the last nadl's damiah vs dahang, they traded off on rage and chastity (very balanced duel maps) with fairly low scoring matches, and then they played two matches on dm1 which is one of the most unbalanced duel maps even though it is played the most. How hard is it to hold one room/lift and +back for the rest of the match?

There are so many good players in the world. When someone says 'you can't beat this guy because he lost to this guy' or 'this guy lost to him so he's worse than I thought' I just laugh my ass off. I get scrutinized for shit like this all the time, or used to when I played q2, because I would rarely play seriously.... I would lose to someone who I'm literally infinitely better than then have to hear their shit afterward because VERY FEW people are capable at looking at the bigger picture when determining a players' skill level. There's a point to the +back bashing that many people do around here.....being that I've lost to people that I am much more technically skilled than, have much more knowledge about prioritization with weapons / in battle mind-games, and know sounds better tenfold. BUT that's just like any video game.... There are always going to be many very, very defensive players compensating for their lack of technical skill/strat in the game. I purposefully rush people like this, no matter the circumstances, because it's fucking quake 2, not halo... sometimes this loses me the match, in addition to chasing people around with blaster much of the time.. and it's still worth it, no matter how many people think that I suck.. being that there is not a single person that plays this game, in the entire world, that i can't beat eventually, or at least once. And anyone can quote me on that. There's people that will beat me half the time that can't say the same about playing top tier players, which alone says that wins/losses don't mean much. And even in tournament, not everyone has nerves of steel... The whole battle of who makes a mistake first in tournament style play like your life depends on it defense doesn't appeal to me much. Skill on lan is different as well.
