The punk may be from Texas, but I don't think anyone around here is going fault EVERY Texan for allowing this yo-yo to live in their same state. He's just an uneducated dolt that thinks because he gets his ass pwnt to death by everyone that OBVIOUSLY everyone is cheating. Maybe someone just needs to explain some shit to him. Things like: most of the players on the servers are "regulars", folks who play here often and have been playing here for quite some time. They've all gained enough experience from playing so much that they know how to aim better in regards to ping, whereas in single player mode, there is no lag to adjust your shots for at all and whatever is under your crosshair is going to get hit. Sure, it's frustrating sometimes. But if you can't handle it, get yourself some bots and play some FFA against them on your own PC so that you won't have to worry about lag or embarrassing yourself by getting your ass kicked on a public server. And with bots, you can usually adjust their skill level so that you can beat them. As far as I know, there aren't any bots that can aim rockets at your feet or adjacent walls to inflict splash damage... so if some butthurt punk is gonna play nothing but bots for a while and then start thinking they've gotten good enough to be able to kick the shit out of everyone on a real server with human opponents, they're in for a rude awakening.

That's just Valve trying to act like they actually support their community, via some community manager, online.

I didn't know that. I really haven't played on Steam that much in these last, couple of years. Half-life 2 and it's mods aren't amazingly fun and addictive as I found the original Half-life and it's mods to be.
