Wow. A total thrashing of the Giants by the Saints. Through 5 games, New aw' lins looks strong and deep. Got offense? YEP. Got defense? Yep. Got kickers? YEP. The kickoff/punt coverage is a weakness, but that's about it. As a long suffering Ain'ts fan, I know it is best to expect the unexpected. Untimely injuries can ruin a teams' chances. A quirk in the schedule might mean you face a team that lost early but now has a new coach/quarterback to inspire them. It's a long season. Still - the ASaint's are looking scary good.

If I haven't said it yet, I'll go ahead and say it now:

As long as they keep Drew Brees covered, safe in the pocket and healthy like they've been doing, the Saints will not lose 1 single game this year. Today was the first game of theirs I really got a chance to watch start to finish. They are playing damn near flawless. Brees is connecting on more than most of his longer throws. The only teams that will stand any chance at all against them are New England and possibly Indianapolis.

Down 24-10 at the end of the first half, the Saint's out score the fins 36 to 10 in the second half and stay undefeated with a 46-34 victory. Wow.

This team appears to be the real deal. I won't take anything for granted..... after all, we are talking about the New Orleans Saints. The dead people buried beneath the Superdome have a ju ju on the team, the replay cameras and officials. They always find a way to spoil a good thing. Arg, after all these years I still haven't learned.

I've never deep fried a turkey before, but from what I've heard, the ones that get all black and burned looking like that usually taste better than cooking them a little slower at a lower temperature.
