Player Models All Black

Im not sure but all of the player models are completely black when playing multiplayer. And when I'm in the jump mod, it wont even let me change characters because at the bottom of the screen it says "No valid Player Models". But I've gone into baseq2 and checked for the files and they are all there. So is there a command or something that has turned off the models and can I fix it?

Oh, wow. People making fun of my post that's almost 3 years old!? Feels weird. Anyway. I never found a fix for this. I had to redownload Quake 2 before I could get the proper models. How strange. Thanks for trying anyway!
