A double flip flop within a single interview on one subject. Just considering the idea of Obama being a racist already makes you fairly stupid/detached from reality/etc.

Obama is a racist. All you have to do is read his book to know that he resents white people, including his grand mother and her prejudices. I am sure she learned something but it's clear it affected BO's outlook.

I just loved that open-mouthed picture of him in cuffs.

It does not make me happy that Obama thinks cops are inclined to do the wrong thing. Remember, this dude sits in the highest office of the land and he has sworn an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution.

He didn't know the full story that's true, but I don't see why you wouldn't give him some slack...the guy lives at the house, he can proove he lives there, and the cop can't work something out.  Sounds like the cop doing a horrible job to me, but who knows how hard he was mouthing off. 

So assume he was mouthing off badly, both of them most likely failed.  The guy at his house, obviously doesn't deal with cops appropriately, and the cop couldn't calm him down, and realize if it's his house, he can work something out, instead he sends the guy to jail...which is a failure for both of them.

As for Glen Beck, I really don't know what to say.  I think he's trying to say Obama identifies white people as "the man" and wants to give advantages to minorities.  How the fuck does this idiot get his own tv show, only in america.

My gut feel is that Obama is not a racist. He has appointed many whites to senior positions in his cabinet (including enemy Hilary) and doesn't appear to be overtly biased to blacks or minorities. However he is a somewhat naiive liberal (socialist?), who thinks he can correct every injustice in the world. He clearly has no experience in the real world of political realities, or world threats. He seems to choose to be submissive in tough situations where leadership and strength are required. Or using silly "beer" sessions to teach us little people, how to get along with each other.

As for Hillary: she's in there because BO cut the deal that she would concede the nomination at the convention for a cabinet position. Hell yes, BO is pragmatic when he wants to be or when he as advisors to tell him what to do but he's lost when he's on his own, that much is clear. He's still a kid junior senator when it comes to the big leagues.

She should of chosen her words better, and it is pretty wrong to practically say all people attending the tea parties are racist.  Maybe they feel the government is taking to much of their money, maybe they want to promote fiscal responsiblity.   Seems like these are crucial points the country failed at addressing.  When we're doing well, we just spend, and now we have issues.  Where's the money to fall back on?  At the same time the government is taking all the money and it sucks!  But I have a problem believing Obama is not aware of these are critical issues.  What he did do is address  the potential of an accelerated collapse, which the country was tetering on.  He's just not able to change the course of action during this year.  His objective was to stop a train wreck.   

Seriously, wtf are they doing with all the money  .  There's no problems though, capitalism is perfect, that's why we give out 9 billion in mostly 1 million plus bonuses in failing companies.  But capitalism is tested no worries..

These rallies did bring a lot of anti-obama nut jobs out of the woodwork, and I think that's what she was getting at, and totally went about it in the wrong way, insulting a lot of good people at the tea parties.  While Glen Beck is saying the bi-racial president is racist, the bi-racial president is racist?  Maybe he disagress with one of his policies, and then says he's racist.  I really have no idea what he's talking about, other than he's calling Obama racist, which is the last person I'd think someone would call racist..

So to me, I understand what she was trying to say, and I generally disagree, but Glen Beck..calling Obama racist, I just don't get it.  Maybe he meant some policy he had was unfair..I really have no idea.  Or he could be calling Obama a racist, which is insane.

See what's going on here is more than that, it's almost a class warfare type thing, and Obama is siding with the poor and the blacks.  That's what it boils down to for people like Glenn beck, but he can't explain himself.

For those who don't know why the racist issue comes up, there are 2 things that are not being discussed. The Jeremiah Wright issue and the Gates arrest. You can argue both all you want, I'm not arguing for or against either. Just clarifying what the underlying issues were.

Yeah she umm called them "tea bagging rednecks" and it was allowed uncensored on air without rebuttal of any kind. It's fair making the comparison to Michael Savage, but comparing to Glenn Beck is inaccurate. The "tea bagging rednecks" comment is not comparable to Michael Savage because of it's content. It's because of it's ignorant boldness and lack of class. Two qualities that Savage has and Glenn would deny.

As for acting shocked that the tea parties are happening (and GeROFLCOPTERS notion that they are based on not knowing history)

Poor Glenn Beck. If any of you watch The Daily Show or Colbert Report, Beck is their favorite whipping boy. They must pore over all the footage of anyhing Beck utters. I actually liked the guy when he first went to TV from radio. The big issues then were 911 and Muslim terrorism - and he was a hawk on these issues. I always thought his heart was in the right place, but these days he's kind of a harmless buffoon.
