ACHTUNG! Focalor's Pak v6.66 is now available. Don't worry, this is probably the last pak I'm gonna throw at you. Unless someone has any request that I create them some kind of special themed custom pak, I doubt I'm going to fool with making any more. I'm sure at this point, no one gives a shit about my crappy paks anymore, but just in case you do, then this is craptasticlly awesome news you've been waiting for.

Just installed your Pak6.66 - very kick ass work!  I admit I hacked out the railgun sound because the classic sound of the particular weapon just warms my heart, but all the other goodies are top-notch!  Good usable crosshairs too (which is what made me download it in the first place)...

Incidentally, this is the first custom PAK I've ever used.  Thanks for the readme.txt!  Off to find some hi-res textures...maybe!

I can't remember if I mentioned it in the readme, but I use the latest version of hi-res map textures in a separate pak, in addition to using Elysium's brightskin in yet another pak. I think I usually include a link to the hi-res textures download on my pak preview pages, but I was just too lazy to do it this time. Check my other previous pak pages for the link.

Cool 'nuff - I just searched  for Hi-Res Textures and found them no problem.  Of course hi-res textures require that I run the R1Q2 client and video driver.  Now I have to get used to the slightly different feel of that engine.   And it only works on the best hardware - anything short of a dual-core P4 at 3.6Ghz completely chunks.

But now it's a whole nuther Q2 experience!

BTW, the "You Stupid Cocksucker" sample for the megahealth sounds EXACTLY like my uncle!

Yeah, my little nephew was watching me play the other day. I had to cough really loud every time someone picked up the megahealth because he repeats everything. I'm sure my sister would appreciate me teaching him that phrase very little.
