Some clueless noob that nobody even knows or plays quake 2 with comes into the tastyspleen IRC channel, explicitly threatens to take everyone out by "UDP flooding" their modem, spamming the channel with gay shit, and just being an all around asstard. You ban me because I posted the first 3 digits of his phone number to shut him up? wow.


I actually told an admin to ban this goon. I didn;t even do anything until he explicitly stated that he was trying to attack faglors computer (yes i was sticking up for faglor). I know that we all fuck around, say mean shit to each other and sometimes act like we hate another, but when push comes to shove, i would stick up for and protect anyone in this community that is being harassed and/or threatened  by some lame queef that's never even played quake 2 and is just trying to be cool. and you ban me for taking him out?


That's pretty sad. I guess we can see who really cares about this community after all.

I'm not sure exactly what was the root cause of you being banned. I personally don't think it had anything to do with that particular situation... doesn't seem like it anyway, otherwise you would have probably received that ban right after that happened.

Anyone who is reasonably proficient at hacking through a network like that isn't going tell EVERYONE what they are about to do unless they're just completely full of shit and trying to scare people into disconnecting.
