I like this band, if you like Acacia Strain--these guys do it but better.

nothing to special as far as guitar work etc but just something you could rock to while having a beer.

There's a few cool riffs in this song, but I guess I'm not too into it though. Vocals and a few parts of the song just weren't real appealing I guess, imo. I'm down for songs to drink and chill to though, as long as i like it pretty much.. andwritten and organized well? I'm drunk.

If you've heard one band on the Victory label, you've pretty much heard them all.

Yeah true that. I have trouble getting into basically anything new these days... If you were to ask me what my favorite new metal cds are that have come out in the past year, I would have said the same thing 6-7 months ago.

Victory has catered to nothing but their own little subgenre they helped create. I wouldn't even know what to call the genre. My old bands drummer was really into that whole scene. He always called it "hardcore" I think, even though it doesn't really sound similar to the older NY Hardcore genre. Every song consists of that all-important breakdown tempo change and the percussive palm mutes with full stops throw in at the end of the repeating riff. They dress a little emo. Pants so tight that the guys have camel toes. Definitely not my scene. Thank Satan I came to my senses and got out of that band before wasting too much time writing and rehearsing anything.
