Not working for me..Im guessing this topic is here somewhere, but not going to look for it. Put in the CD and it reads it like a music CD...have tried the manual install that Ive seen listed on several sites except when I get to the step that is supposed to copy the install/data file...nothing copies, I get the message that files not found...so that is as far as that has gone...help much appreciated.

I'm running q2 on vista. I just copied the entire directory from my old computer - which ran XP - and pasted it onto this one and it worked fine. I could send you my q2 folder if you want, maybe it will work?

Like they all said. Just copy whole C:\Quake2 directory. When you first go to connect to a server Vista will ask you if this is OK and just say "allowed" or whatever. It will only do this once. After that it should be trouble-free.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
