xatrix maps

I just love the fact that now that there are 7 billion new maps on xatrix that I never play anymore...
progress and change is not always a good thing...

Dukie, is it the maps themselves?  Or the download time?

Now that we have spawngirl's XRAZY server, it may make sense to remove some of the larger new maps from xatrix?

It wouldn't take too much digging to find out that SpawnGirl is someone who would fire off a shot or two at someone and as soon as someone started firing back, she'd inevitably pull out the "You're a coward for picking on a little girl, you're not a real man, poor pitiful persecuted me, wah wah wah" card,... which she has done on more than one occasion before.

It's been pretty empty lately, and so has the mutant server.

I insulted exterminander a few days ago, is true, i called him "dick head"

Well that is nothing in comparison with the insults that said to me, I just think that exterminander was the appropriate one for that denomination

I'd like to report that the Xatrix server seems to be acting up.  All players are experiencing the inability to move about more than a few seconds at a time.  It's been going on for at least 2 days now.

And, since the subject has come up, I think it makes sense to remove Spawns maps from the Xatrix server, and remove my maps from the XRAZY server.  Spawn and I have 2 different styles, and I think it serves all players well, to be able to switch back and forth when they want a change of pace/scenery.  It's seems somewhat pointless to have overlapping maps.

Dukie, I'd love to see you play more Xatrix.  Same goes for JQuest and Pantaloons.  I miss you guys.

I guess we can try that for starters.

It may not address the overall issue of downloads. 

Another compromise might be to set up xatrix mymap like vanilla is, where at least two "rotation" maps have to play in between "non-rotation" mymaps.

So a player like Dukie would at least be able to play two maps before having another to download...

It's always tough when two people are breaking up like this but do you really want to split up the kids?... err maps?
