I see many demos of Damiah, purri, syanid in q2dm1 and want know how to do to swin fast? They swimming very fast, they use strafe jump under the water? Are waterjumps?

when swimming forward simply press strafe left, strafe right back and forth very fast

underwater wall strafing helps a lot. Very easy to do in the rg tunnel on dm1.

I simply must strafe right or left while I go forward? I move my mouse to rright and strafe right too to i go to right very fast? I think I do not understand.

I believe if you are against a wall while underwater, if you hold forward and strafe in the direction of the wall, and kinda turn your mouse slightly towards the wall you're strafing against you can accelerate a bit. Not sure if you can really swim faster unless one part of you is touching a wall.

If you're trying to move vertically, that is, UP or DOWN, it's much faster to aim in the direction that you want to go, then press 'move-forward', rather than your 'swim-up/jump' or 'swim-down/crouch' buttons.

You use a combination of crouch, +moveup and directional / strafe keys... underwater wall strafing like punk described basically has the same physics as a circle jump... you just circle into the wall.

I wonder if you can strafe in two directions.. meaning wall strafe AND ceiling strafe at the same time.
