some admin's don't care about anticheat, they just setup the server for people to play.  There's nothing wrong with using q2 hacks/cheats as long as everyone on the server is allowed to.  Similar to allowing the cheat codes.

Why bother playing if you lack the skill or the desire to acquire it?, games are like jousting arenas were modern day knights pit themselves against each other in contests of skill?, cheating is the same as a knight in medieval times using rocket launchers and laser weapons against knights still using lances and swords? how does this constitute fun?, if thats the kind of gameplay you want go outside and step on some bugs? they have about as much chance of beating you.

US had helicopters, tanks, jeeps, generals, highly trained soldiers & lots of ammo vs a bunch of farmers.  I didn't hear the Vietnamese screaming "hax!", did anyone else?

That was home field advantage, peopl who had worked the land for years and knew every hole and hill to use for advantage, the same as if you play a new map you never played before against someone who had played that map for years, that is a huge advantage.

and admin's who don't mind hax have the home field advantage!    (german's had home field advantage, so did the italtians or Japanese!)

If germany hadn't stripped its resources by attacking russia & england it would have been able to win, as it was by the time the allied forces reached germany all germany had left were basically teenagers, japan had no home field advantage against two nuclear bombs dropped on civilians, how would we react if we did not have nuclear weapons and two were dropped on washington and nevada?, if you went on to a server with the power to press a button and kill everyone on the level but you, over and over again, is that really playing against home field advantage?.

see, I point out how it's their servers, you try to say it doesn't matter, they can't allow cheaters.  They CAN!  That's why people spend $$ to run their own servers, so  they can run one.  They don't need to follow anyone else's rules.

The Vietcong were farmers? I guess they used the bayonets on their AK47's to harvest the grain.
