But what to buy? And what will benefit my aging beast of a computer ?
Its a p4 3200 with 4 gigs of ram,and currently I have a nvidia 7600 which has 512 ram,but I think I can do better....
What do the Godz of gaming recommend?

I'm interpreting this as your motherboard having open PCI slots, one AGP slot which has your graphics card, and no PCI express slots. You could confirm this by looking up your motherboard which would list your graphics bus interfaces.
You can get Nvidia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_Graphics_Processing_Units
or ATI
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_ATI_Graphics_Processing_Units#Radeon_R700_.28HD_4xxx.29_series
Look for the speed of the card, the highest level of DirectX support, and make sure it has AGP listed. I find
www.newegg.com
a good place to buy.
Someone more knowledgeable may have a specific recommendation. I have a ATI x700 which is comparative to your card and works well. So, don't expect a big speed increase except if a game you want to play is using certain calls your current card doesn't support. You might want to simply save for a faster box with PCI Express support.
PS I hear Citizen Kane is being remade.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
