Post questions here that might be a good writing prompt when one has writer's block.

Example:
Do you believe in love at first sight? What about true love?

In case you all wanted to know how I felt on this, here's my answer:

I'm getting pretty pessimistic about the belief that true love exists... but I still believe it, with all my heart.

I don't believe in love at first sight, but I do believe in lust at first sight... which could lead to love in the future. Even if there is no lust at first sight, love and lust can still develop or grow.

Ahhh college. Plenty of falling in lust moments to be had. I would go to The Pit @ UBC and tell girls I was a first year Arts student. Good times.

I don't see why a person should truly torture themselves with regret or experience it at all. Life shouldn't be lived in fear. One shouldn't be afraid to go after their lusts and desires, nor should one be afraid to sincerely apologize for anything they've done which in retrospect might not have been wise. Someone once said, "Any day above ground is a good day."

I prefer not to use words like "believe", as they imply that I have must have blind faith in their existence. But for the sake of context, I will say: Yes, ... sort of.

Concerning objects: HELL YES! That's why I bought my truck!

Concerning human beings: No. Love never happens instantly, just like there is no such thing as unconditional love. One must first "like" the person. At some point it may become "love", but even then it isn't "true love", it's just infatuation. Once the infatuation wears off, that's when one is able to tell whether or not they truly love the person. At that point, your rose colored glasses will fall off and you'll be able to see clearly... that either they are worthy or your companionship,... or that they just look good naked but generally drive you up the fucking wall.

What is the speed of dark?

Makes your mind wander around the concepts of opposite and absence. If there cannot be negative then there cannot be opposite. The opposite of any temperature either doesn't exist or is absolute 0. So the opposite of light is dark. Not because there is a negative light entity out there but because there is no light. So does that make the speed of dark infinite? How quickly can light not be present? Dark was present before light so dark is infinitely present. It's an omnipresent being. Does that make it Omniscient too? Since it doesn't really exist it is neither. It was never anywhere. There is no spoon.

Sight is our perception of light, the vision we build of darkness, is built from the lack of light. People get married 'believing' they are in 'Love'. And then they throw off the one's they depended on when they weren't married, such as their parents, some friends...essentially the people that were really there for them when they needed the most. And years go by, they have children, a house, a new click, thinking they're the shit...and right when everything gets really hairy...They drop the ...divorce court. And then they start thinking, 'Who do I turn to?'...they go back on their knees to their parents, along with everyone else they threw off begging for forgiveness. Just to find out..."I wasn't in love" And guess who gets fucked in the ass the most??? Not the wife with the Child Support check of...thousands of dollars, not the husband who has to pay the child support and live without them...and definitely not the nanny...but the children themselves who saw it go from good to really bad.
Its amazing, how so many people can be so stupid to marry the wrong person because they believe in

The only love I have is for myself and planet Earth. I have no attachments other than to my instinct to produce the most offspring and out-compete all individuals. Life is a biological race there's no time for love.

to address the question, no, love at first sight does not exist. When looks set the foundation for any kind of feelings or relationship it's destined for failure... at least for me anyways, all 15 times or so lol. Usually I judge girls on there looks and whether or not they could amuse me, but I've been trying to change that. My most recent relationship was pretty funny. I dated a very attractive twin for awhile that was seemingly pretty nice. Didn't really like her personality much, even though she was fun... she was just kind of stupid. I thought she was a really nice person though, she worked 4 days a week as a nurse taking care of the elderly around the clock. Then, suddenly she breaks it off with me by saying "i don't feel normal unless my boyfriend beats me... i'm just not myself unless it's like that. you respect girls a little too much so i'm going to go back to my 120 lb abercrombie scrub ex-bf that lives 5 states away that is abusive" I said something on the lines of Thanks for telling me i didn't like you much anyways. Which is true, I was laughing my ass off about the whole situation a few minutes later.

I posted it so people could laugh at it some sohcahtoa, don't apologize. My friends and I find it equally as funny... but I think you misunderstood it slightly, I'm not doing any soul searching

and yeah troll my brackets went to hell too. First day I was owning because I called the clemson michigan upset (which was hard because i like clemson too....) but then wake and FL state lost and they were KEY to my brackets success. I had FL state upsetting pitt and wake on l'ville... ahhh
