I won't even bother posting 10 killed in Alabama because this trumps that. Is this a weekly event now? Is there some kind of worldly malaise going on that inspires this type of crime on a regular basis? Some jerk somewhere that has been wronged/bullied/fired/divorced/whatever that feels a rational response to his anger is to kill as many people in as short a time as possible, and then, like the hero that they are - shoot themselves or deliberately get shot? Too much GTA? Natural Born Killers?
I just don't get it.....

I wouldn't say any of them trumps the other (that could be the point btw: to get the most kills & make the biggest headlines), but it is very sad. I really wish they wouldn't be cowardly enough to shoot themselves & avoid facing the consequences.

But in a little bit of time it will be like terrorist attacks: nobody will mind any more, it will become "day to day".

EDIT: hate to say it, but I'm glad it wasn't the USA. Seems many euro-kiddies on the net say they're countries are immune to this kind of thing. Again, that could be why it's being done, so they can get noticed.

The deed itself isn't exactly 100% "cowardly" or anything. Honestly, it takes some degree of balls to go around blasting people without meticulous planning and calculation going into in order to have the best odds of getting away clean. In fact, they don't want to get away clean, they want people to know exactly who did it. From what I can tell, it's always someone who is deeply depressed and wanting to end their miserable lives anyway. Perhaps they have sought help and understanding before and only been disappointed again with the results. As a final act, they kill lots of random people before killing themselves. In that way, they don't feel so alone and misunderstood because they can effectively force others to feel some degree of the mental anguish that they have felt and tried to express.

With that said, I'm not saying that I sympathize in the least with the loony fucks who would do such a thing. In fact, I hope they DO die in the end. I hope the SWAT sharpshooter floats 9 fat rounds of lead right through their frontal lobe along with 3 in the right side of the chest just to make damn sure. Life is precious, sacred, and good. If any sumbitch can't or don't respect that, then they don't deserve to hang around on this planet 1 second longer and spread their poisonous negativity.

Speaking of which....

I've heard lots of folks suggest that if there were no guns, there would be a decline in the rate of violent crimes.

If that were the case, perhaps you could decrease the rate of DUI fatality crashes by banning cars. Or maybe alcohol.

If we were communist and not allowed to have personal possessions, perhaps that would curtail the theft rate since people would be given everything they need to survive by their government.

ALL of this is FUCKING STUPID and POINTLESS to argue.

NOTHING needs be banned except STUPID PEOPLE. Stupid people do the murdering, stealing, DUI homicides, and every other legal trespass under the sun. There are far too many jails and not nearly enough graves.

Cowards because they target children, teachers and any person going about their day-to-day business. These people are completely defenceless and caught by surprise. That's a coward. I don't see them walking into police stations or the local army base.

i knew a kid that would wound chipmunks to a point with a bb gun that they couldnt get away from him then he would nail them to a tree and toss big rocks at them, wonder what happened to that guy?

People always feel that the reason others have faith in some sort of religion, is because it gives them a sense of security when they die that they will be going to a better place....however there is another reason to believe, and its to hope that people like this really do get to suffer for a very long time in some otherworldly place that most call hell. Seriously, this guy just getting shot isnt enough..he needs to suffer and suffer long.

God I think every young boy knew someone that did crazy shit like that - I had one that would wound birds with BB guns, then stick fire crackers in their mouths and blow them up. Knew another kid whose parents bought a trap to capture skunks in their yard. Before the parents could get home, this kid dumped gas on them and lit them on fire. Nut balls.

I often wonder if they would be closest to going off the edge.

I've read so many cases of serial killers who started off their childhood with cruelty to animals. At that age it takes a special mindset to hurt animals and enjoy watching them suffer. You don't learn this - you simply are. I guess it's not too far a leap to graduate to humans when you get older.

When I was a kid, I would catch lizards and mutilate them a little, then toss them on an ant hill and watch the fireants devour them...

These days I get my sadistic jollies by thrill-killing the fireants every summer with some Ortho fireant powder. I've decimated entire acres wide populations of ants. I'm like the Adolf Hitler of ant murder. It's so awesome.
