I have never my-mapped a map before.  I assume you just type mymap followed by the map name.

If your not sure of the exact name of the map, does it show you a list of available maps

just type "mymap" to get the list,  on mutant it's pretty substantial.
type "nextmap" to show the next group of maps to be played

can also add dmflags as well,    like "mymap fragtwn3 +ia -h -a -pu +fd -ws"  (love that combo)



If you leave before your map comes up it removes it.

Everyone can mymap, it just puts them up in order.

Things like +ia can only be used once in awhile,  vanilla and mutant its every few hours I think.
one server has it set at several year intervals.

You can mymap the next map in the rotation to guarantee it comes up,  it will just skip the second occurrence.


Really?  never used mymap?

J/k I use goto all the time to move around.

I have seen mymap used, just never used it.

I have said before, I just join up a start shooting.  I am lazy about clients, configs, etc.
